WHAT I DO
SOUND
VIDEO
I design sound and video elements for the stage. My audio work ranges from immersive audio environments to subtle sound reinforcement. My background includes both live production and music recording. I freelance as a technician and recording engineer and I do audio and postproduction editing and audio mastering
When approaching a sound design, my focus is on how sound interacts with the live environment. Designing sound for a specific venue has challenges beyond making a good stereo mix for a recording. The spatialization of sound in a room, when everyone does not get to sit in the dead center, takes both creativity and experience.
As a video designer, I explore time and change. My work often employs interactive scenic backgrounds and controlled shifts. I design playful projections that complement live performances and reinvent spaces. My philosophy is that projectors are capable of much more than video playback; they can serve as dynamic lighting elements.
